WHITE TRASH (White Christmas Candy, from Lorie)

Recipe from Linda Biles

Ingredients:

3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Corn  Chex cereal

3 cups Cheerios cereal

2 cups Pretzel sticks (in half)

2 cups Almonds (Dry roasted  OR Honey roasted) 
1-1/2 lb Almond bark OR vanilla melting wafers

Directions: 

1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. (Attention, it is a large quantity.)

1. Melt almond bark in the microwave (50% power) and pour over the dry mixer

1. Mix well  (MY NOTE: I used 1/3 of the recipe)

3. Pour out one layer onto a long sheet of waxed paper to cool and solidify, for two hours, up to overnight.

4. Break apart and divide into gift bags.

NOTE:

Melting almond bark in a microwave:

To melt the whole amount, place the almond bark in a microwave dish for 90 seconds. Stir, and continue for a 15-second interval, until it is smooth and soft.

To reduce the amount, cut each section apart and then microwave.
